JEE Main 2018 Admission process: Joint Entrance Examination is the largest exam in the terms of a number of candidates appeared in an exam on a single day. JEE main exam is conducted for admission in IITs/ IITs and other engineering colleges of India. JEE main score matters a lot to get admission in a reputed college or university.
JEE Main 2018 Admission process
First of all, candidates will have to take part in JEE Main 2018 examination by filling the application forms which are to be released in November 2018. When the result of the examination will be declared you will get your rank in this examination.
Candidates shall be offered admission on the basis of their All India Rank in JEE main 2018. All candidates will be offered admissions through online counseling in July 2018. Candidates shall be asked to choose their branch, college during counselling process.
Candidates will be asked to submit their documents for verification. Purpose to verify candidate’s documents if to confirm and verify his/her age, qualifications, scores and category. If due to some reasons, verification of documents fails then candidate will not get admission in that particular college.
JEE Main Admission Criteria
- Candidate should have completed either his/her higher secondary examination in science with mathematics or completed a diploma courses from any UGC/AICTE certified college/university.
- Candidates must must have minimum marks to qualify the examination.
- He/She must have scored marks (greater than the cut off marks), which are required to apply for a particular college.
